Dear Customers,
As we slowly make our way out of COVID-19 lockdown in Australia we are aware of the ongoing global crisis this pandemic is having on everybody’s lives throughout the world. We must remember to stay safe, educate our children and protect our loved ones, in every aspect of our ‘new normal’ daily life, as we learn to live with the consequences of this virus.
We would like to reassure our customers that our small team at Far Photography are doing everything we can to ensure the safe creation, production and packaging of all our products. Integrating additional hygiene and safety systems, to ensure the integrity of our products and safe delivery to your door.
Our new procedures implemented since March 2020
- All giftware range are cleaned with methylated spirits before being sealed inside cellophane bags
- All products are produced and packaged in-house (literally, inside Vicky’s house) in a controlled environment and COVID-19 free zone.
- All print work is handled solely by photographer Vicky, further reducing its exposure to outside contamination. Cards and prints are removed directly from the printer, wrapped and bound without direct contact.
- All deliveries are packaged and sent directly from Vicky’s house in Hillarys, Western Australia. The state of WA has been extremely fortunate to have experienced one of the lowest recorded infection rates of COVID-19 within Australia. WA is benefiting from its extremely remote geographical location and strict controls over its state borders.
- All cards, giftware and small frames are sealed inside cellophane bags. We are currently in the process of switching to biodegradable, compostable, 100% plant based cellophane bags made from vegetable starch. Upholding our global commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting conservation and the environment through actions and sales.
If I may share one last thought with you all, please remember as with all challenges in life, what matters most, at the end of the day, is our family and friends. Reach out to one another, keep in contact, make the time to catch up, listen, don’t judge. Because sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you come face to face with your greatest weakness.
These are extraordinary times and I know things are tough for many people. Lean on friends, listen to loved ones, reach out to someone who is less fortunate than you. No man is an island and storms don’t last forever.
